Thursday`s system continues to make progress well east of the area
with sfc ridging building over the area. While some clouds will
continue to stream over the area, very cold air will spill south
leading to lows in the 20s across much of the northern half of the
state. Some localized FG/FZFG could develop through sunrise across
some of the areas where clear sky conditions are seen and where
precip occurred on Thursday.

A slight warmup is expected across the state through Sunday before
a H500 trough moves through the W/NW mid-level flow aloft. At the
sfc, this will lead to a cold front moving across the state on
Sunday. Limited moisture will lead to practically no chance of
precipitation with the passage of this system. While it`ll be
pretty cold from Sunday night through Tuesday morning, this
cooldown will be pretty short-lived.

Sfc ridging will shift E/SE of the area by Tuesday with low level
S/SW flow bringing warmer temperatures back for the end of the
period.

Expect a mixture of MVFR and VFR CIGS across all terminals to begin
the forecast period. CIGS will intermittently improve to VFR flight
category with a return to CIGS lowering to as low as IFR flight
category across the sites of KHOT and KADF early Saturday morning
just after midnight. A tad later into Saturday morning before
sunrise, VSBY is expected to lower to LIFR category at times across
the sites of KHOT, KADF, and KHRO which has been represented by
TEMPO groups. All sites will return to VFR flight category later
Saturday morning and prevail through the afternoon.
